Blood tests
Appointments for blood tests are offered Monday through Friday at the main outpatient departments of Charing Cross, Hammersmith, and St Mary’s hospitals.
Emergency care
Our emergency care services include accident and emergency departments, specialist emergency centres, and urgent treatment centres (UTCs).
Outpatients
If you have a question about your appointment, or would like to cancel or change your appointment, you can contact our booking team between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday by calling 020 3313 5000. Alternatively, you can email us at i.outpatientappointments@nhs.net.
Surgery
If you are coming into hospital for surgery or a procedure as an outpatient, or as an inpatient, requiring a hospital stay for recovery there are things you can do to prepare.

Staying safe during your visit
In line with national NHS guidance, we've removed several Covid-19 measures and although masks are optional now, we understand if you prefer to wear one for added peace of mind.

We value the positive impact that visits have on the care and comfort of our patients and have implemented a range of safety measures to keep everyone safe and secure when visiting our hospitals.
Preventing and tackling conflict
Our hospitals are very busy and you may need to wait longer for care than usual.
These challenges can be very frustrating for everyone. As part of our response to preventing and tackling conflict, we have set out clear expectations on how we should all behave towards one another.
